ReplyDeleteYou know how much sense this chapter makes? None. None sense. At all. If Kim is a baddie all he needed to do was a one hit KO on Chun. Unless he's trying to find some way to KO Chun wo him knowing it was him? Eh. I still don't buy it.

Yeah, I agree that not knocking teacher Chun out right away is problematic. Everyone, myself included, has been complaining about it since I released the chapter last night.
DeleteThe one explanation that is kinda plausible, given by someone at Reddit, is that teacher Kim thinks no one other than fellow Attacker Samsusaeng knows he is a Dicer, much less an A-Ranker. He doesn't know Mio is a Clairvoyant who has exposed him already, so he may be trying to pretend to protect the teacher so he can take him to a place where he can dispose of him without drawing suspicion to himself. He cannot do that in the room because Mio and Eunju are at the other side of the door and will know immediately who did it.
Of course, for us readers, who know his cover has been blown already, his actions are pointless, but he doesn't know that.
As for Mio, we don't know for sure how long ago she stopped receiving quests, or how many points she would need to become strong enough to destroy a metal door. She may be saving points strategically to buy store items, and it may be wiser to have Dongtae do the heavy work, since he can probably smash down that door effortlessly.
DeleteThere's also the fact that Teacher Kim probably hasn't collected as many dice as the other A-Rankers, so his stats would be lower. If his cover is blown, he risks engaging other A-Rankers.
