Despite the fact that the bulk of the animation in Japanese anime today is done by South Korean companies, for some inexplicable reason they don't animate manhwa, even though they are from the same country. I read in Wikipedia that there were some exceptions in the nineties, manhwa that got animated, but that's long in the past.
Manhwa tend to become live-action dramas, and even that doesn't happen with the same frequency as manga become anime. I personally cannot stand live action for this kind of thing, so I'll never have the pleasure of seeing Dongtae, Eunju, Mio and Taebin talking and moving.
Let's hope that the manhwa at least remains this good and lasts long, because that's as far as we go.
