- Completed +2
- Ongoing +1
- Discontinued +0
- < 30 chapters (until caught up with weekly or finished) +3
- 31-40 chapters +2
- >40 chapters +1
- Number of times requested x 1.5
- a group is not working on it +1.5
- a group is working on it +1
- How much I like it +1-10
- Art +1-2
Any other suggestions what to take into consideration before I do the math?

I should probably edit it to include that it's +1 only if the updates aren't on a weekly basis though.

Also, on another note, since you said you'd read 5 chapters into each one to decide if yah or nah, I'd like to mention that some are impossible to understand within 5 chapters (Fairytale is a total mess until later on) and some don't even have 5 chapters translated as of now (Boarding House being recently picked up but released every few weeks, and Potion Mania and Bachelor Next Door having been dropped relatively soon after being started).

Usually for the manhwas that I have no idea what's going on in the first 5 chapters, I continue reading on. I haven't encountered one as of yet, and I'm already acquainted with the slightly confusing ones. I'll add your suggestions onto the list a little later after I finish my essay, so don't be discouraged if I take a while to update the post.

DeleteDon't rise to that bait, Jin. No need for quotation marks, this series IS wordy. It's a very complicated space opera, with an incredibly big cast of characters. I am mildly interested in it - although I find it long-winded at times - but I'd never dare to challenge anyone to do it. It needs a lot of free time and great tenacity to plod through bubbles and more bubbles of small case tech-lingo. Unless you plan to spend one year in seclusion, I'd advise you not to touch it. It's the kind of thing that must be translated by a team or a dedicated translator working on nothing else.

Those webtoons were dropped a long while ago even though they're amazing in both art and story so far :(

it's pretty famous but on huge delay on the scanlation :(
I also want to say that City of a Dead Sorcerer is a great one that has fallen really behind by its scanlation group. EGScans is actually 45 chapters behind. Special Martial Arts Extreme Hell Private High School is another one that theyre so far behind on. Theres another 31 chapters to season 1 and 44 chapters to season 2. They just call dibs on so many more projects than they can handle.
