Many thanks to Serena, for facing up to the task.
Seriously… DICE has always been the queen of webtoons in the sense that anyone editing it is confronted with challenges that are in a league of their own. Who edits this series can edit anything in the webtoon realm. This chapter is proof of that.
(Yes, the lettering was by hand. There was no other way.)
Let's see if the tramps in LINE can do this chapter justice some four months from now.
We'll be striving to catch up, now.

Wow, another big round number!
DICE 300
Here is the original (click-support if only for the numerical achievement!) and here is the latest browser-based English official release by LINE. (Via the smartphone application, you can read three more chapters.)
The next chapter has a delay warning in Naver, without a set date.
About that… this is just speculation, but I wonder whether something is happening to the author in real life for the past couple months. The period of chapters with little plot progression and little text has been more or less the period of late releases and low rates.
Some people think that we don't cut other workers any slack when they have trouble in real life and that affects their work, so why should we cut webtoonists any? Well, if I put myself in this author's shoes, he's married and has had two daughters in the course of producing DICE.
I dunno what kind of contract webtoonits have with Naver. I don't think any outsider does. If they are paid for output, and don't receive any wages between the end of one project and the beginning of the next one, I should think a father of two would be under great pressure to extend the run of a series until they are ready to begin the next with as short an interval as possible.
Of course I don't think that should be cause to be less critical of releases. Personally, I'm not bothered by chapters with little progression. Any series, even my favourite ones like this, has its ups and downs. (With the possible exception of FMA.) In this case, I'll just keep enjoying the art and the dialogues until he gets his act together and brings the series to its conclusion. All of the above is speculation. Perhaps he's under a writer's block for the conclusion. Perhaps he's just feeling lazy.
Some people take breaks from reading in periods like this and come back after a few months so they can binge through the slow-progression part.
The wrong links for raws after chapter 293 have been corrected. Kudos to lfaccidentwill for spotting the mistake.

Slight delay ahead
Just a heads-up.
Jin will turn the scripts for 294 and 295 in a bundle, but at the time I'll be in the middle of a trip. So there will be a delay of a couple of days for 294. You can also expect a delay on 295 as Boofy will also be away early this week.

Fifth anniversary!
A little late, but it's still the 11th in some time zones.
Five years ago, Jin began this project.
A couple of weeks later, Kfnmpah K and then I joined her to work on the series.
Never thought we'd still be doing it by now. I think my first estimate was that it would be over at 200 chapters.
I don't think there will be a sixth anniversary, at least not with DICE as our flagship series. But let's enjoy the ride until it's over.
Thanks for being with us so far, as readers and sometimes joining us when we needed help. I very much doubt we'd still be doing it, and caught up with Korea about 90% of the time in the past couple of years, had it not been for you all.
Cheers, Jin!

DICE 277
Here is the original (you click, you see, he wins) and here is the latest English official release by LINE.
And speaking of that, we need a redrawer for the final stretch of this series. Details at the end of the chapter.
By the way, let me do something unorthodox and point everyone to check out this amazing new webtoon, Dark Mortal. (The link is to an aggregator, Mangadex. You don't need to register, but maybe you do for long-strip viewing.)
It has a solid start, with a very small resemblance to DICE, in that an outcast gets involved with a supernatural entity and gains power from that. But the setting is completely different and much darker in tone. (Though in a way, DICE has gone to aspects of human nature that I'd rather not be reminded of so often.)
It's being scanlated by the good gents of 5o5 Scans, who, contrary to us, are in sync with the new times and have a Discord instead of our antedeluvian blog. They do an outstanding edition work! Make sure to pay your respects to them if you like the series!

A little free time on my hands…
… so I convinced likcoras and Kuroto to help me out with something different:
Jumping over 5
I happen to like bullying in school as a theme, if well done. This one's takes a slow approach, focusing on a female protagonist that's slowly transitioning from being just a plain Jane character to a bully victim. We get to see her thought process and the bullies are not over-the-top monsters, just believable, garden variety despicable human beings. There's some sci-fi stuff, too.
This is a very informal release, and I think it unlikely we'll continue on it unless a translator and at least two editors were to volunteer to join us, 'cause I don't have time to do it in a regular basis. That's why the link above goes to Mangadex and not to Death Toll's reader, and we don't have the proverbial link to the original chapter.
As for DICE, still no sign of a new chapter. They did announce the series would come back in March. What they didn't say is whether it would show up both in the paywall and as a public release. In the past, the author made three chapters at once, but only one of them was released publicly, the other two forming the usual paywall buffer. But it's possible they'll release just on the paywall first and we'll have to wait a little longer to see the next chapter. Stay tuned.

Enjoy the chapter!
DICE 271
Here is the original (add some money to the author's holiday fund by clicking!) and here is the latest English official release by LINE.
I'm calling off the redrawer recruitment because after chapter 272, the series will go on a break till an unspecified time in March. This means eight weeks at most, so there's no point in sorting the redrawer issue out before the series is back.
By the way, after the fiasco of announcing the series was ending a while ago, I took care to check this piece of news. You won't find any public announcement of the break; Jin explained to me they don't announce it in advance because readers purchase fewer paywall chapters if they know a break is coming. So the announcement came with chapter 272 itself, which I confirmed with Jay, who reads paywall chapters.
For us, other than the break itself, nothing changes. When the series is back, LINE will still be 20 weeks behind at least, or five months, so we'll keep working on it.
