Jin will probably upload it here when she has time and occasion. I don't do it myself because I don't know how to avoid the white frames between panels.
This is all thanks to Jin's sudden decision of not letting a backlog accumulate again (the thought being too dreadful to contemplate). As her loyal soldiers, Fábio and I rose to the challenge and after some nine hours of intense work, we finished it. Our magician Fábio redrew this, I cleaned and Jin of course translated, but typesetting was done frantically by Jin and I.
Not healthy, this sort of scanlation spree. Had we started it last Saturday and done things at this pace, it would have been a fully redrawn, same-day release.
No way.
We don't know what the issue of this will be yet. We have to talk things through and decide. Mangaholics, as of this writing, is no longer accessible, and without a declaration by him that he dropped it, we cannot know whether we will be greeted by another speedscan two days from now. And Jin has her own plans, which she had announced here before. So, for now, no promises.
I was just on my way to bed (5am, damn you Final Fantasy 14) when read the mail from Splicer, an all-nighter once in a while doesnt hurt, and it was for a good cause :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for this chapter, and i have to say that i would love it if you continued translating it. I don't really care what day the translated releases are on, if it is the same day or if it is 3,4 or even 5 days later, as long as we get a good quality release which is consistent, since we really wouldn't notice that it wasn't a same-day release...

ReplyDeleteLol i said it. The poll on mangaholics was bollocks. He actually wanted people to vote yes because what he wanted was to actually drop it. He realised he was in way over his head and was looking for an easy way out without looking like an idiot.
