Hmm.. So does this "fly too high and die by rain" scenario make Miju "Icarus" or does the title refer to someone/something different? Considering the next couple chapters are still Icarus, maybe there are multiple? Baah, I don't know. I'm going stop thinking and binge on donuts while studying.

The author admittedly is stretching the plot... Eunju the character without soul. Main character doesn't want to solve the mystery, but to kick X's ass. Who's X? Probably the author himself doesn't know yet. How to write the story? Make characters stupid as hell then make them take a decisions. The webtoon was great until now, but I'm losing interest in it when characters are more and more stupid. I'm starting to take X's side... Just kill all this idiots X...

What makes you say the characters are stupid, exactly ? Can you explain ?

DeleteEunju - behaves in the same way from the start of webtoon. Everyone can lie to her, she won't notice anything. She likes Taebin although he doesn't care about her. She persistently doesn't notice Dongtae. She's totally helpless person. The only wise thing she does is refusing to take the dice. She can't create any plan and until recently - she was the best at ignoring what happens around her (or was just too stupid to notice?).
Dongtae - did nothing to fix the friendship with Eunju. The honest and wise conversation with her could solve a lot, but he didn't even try. He has chosen to behave like her flunkey, doing a lot of things for her for nothing. You can say they had some conversations with each other, however in my opinion they were too simple and short. Probably author didn't want to play with it. If Dongtae is creating any plan in this critical situation when everyone is fighting with each other and he has lost his guild? No, he doesn't care. He's going to Mio... (thinking with balls?)
Taebin - the guy with mental problems... He wants to fight alone or fight another A-rankers to become the same as Mooyoung who he hates.
Now... What should all of them do? Eunju should stop running in circles and crying, and start looking for help. For example for Dongtae's help. Or anyone else who's strong, but Dongtae's is the best for the plot. She could bring him newly gained dices making him stronger. Such plot twist would be great. Just imagine her apologizing to Dongtae. Then they could start thinking what to do. What about Dongtae? He should start collecting A-rankers and I don't mean killing them, but uniting them against common enemy, which is X, who is playing with their life.
The author probably will do something like this sometime, but at the moment he's stretching the plot, by focusing on meaningless events. I hope that he will somehow focus on the real emotions of characters and stop making fools of us.
That's all naturally only my opinion. Sorry for my English!
Thanks for the reply ! It's interesting, I agree with most of it. Then again, they are very young and in a totally crazy situation, with superpowers and all. Them having "stupid" reactions is not so surprising, I even think think it's rather believable. Most of my friends would probably act the same, forgetting to make real plans and just focusing on themselves.

Is Mio more fat? And she is hiding from Dongtae's sight?

DeleteIt doesn't seem like it. She's just shy because of what happened between them.
DeleteWhat she saw in the mirror was only her original self (the one before the dices changes), she sees this because of her A-rank ability. Everybody else still see her as a beautiful and slim young girl.
